This is my third time writing in this old, heavenly used diary. I am writing this because they were so much incidents happening in front of me that they are important in the world history. As I became the part of the Mr. Irosoku’s navy army after a week I packed my stuff and said good bye to my family especially my wife Kazuko Yoshi and went to the square to ride the truck. As the time gets closer, many younger to older people came to the square. As the truck came, I put my stuff underneath my seat and waved at my friends. I was pretty sad to leave my kinsman but my mind was in interacting with Japanese was greater than lingering mind of my friend and family. When I woke up the truck was covered with darkness. One of the Japanese soldier came to us and told us to wake others. After everyone woke up Japanese soldiers told us how to work in the carrier and to manage all the armament. Later I asked one of the Japanese soldiers where we are heading. He told me that we are heading to pacific ocean. I didn't care why they are going to Pacific ocean because I didn't really know what was happening in outside world. Anyway when I went to my resting place, I saw my old friends. My sadness of leaving my kinsman in my hometown was erased by meeting with my old friends talking about the old days.

The next day we were watching the sea if there was the enemy boat. I was watching the sea and I saw something big coming towards the boat. It was like big whale. But then the ship was shaking and it started going down. I couldn’t do anything. When the boat was fully sinked I saw the other boat coming but it wasn’t Japanese boat. It was American boat. We were astonished but since I only wanted to live, I called to them for help. I finally went up to their deck but someone hit me on the back. Later when my eyes were opened I was in a jail with some Japanese. I couldn’t believe many things happened during time. I pleased to god that I only wanted to see the culture of Japanese. But two of the Japanese on the front started to fight each other. I tried to stop them but they started hitting me. They were shouting at me just because I am a Korean. I was surprised. I didn’t know what to do. The Americans that were outside of the jail came in with a gun and they were taking me out. They told me that one of the American soldier Albert Wilson saved me. As a pay I am now working in American boat cleaning up the trashes. So many things had happened in front of me.
